My Webroot hasn’t found a any viruses or spyware in a month?

Question by : My Webroot hasn’t found a any viruses or spyware in a month?
Can that be right? I just got it from Best Buy not too long ago.At first, it always found something, now it never finds anything even after I’ve been to a site where you’d expect to at least get a spyware.
So does Webroot have a reputation for suddenly not working?

If Webroot hasn’t fond anything, it must be because you do not have any viruses on your computer. And in case Webroot isn’t functioning, Windows will notify you about that.

  1. Tony RB says:

Going to known malware sites is a bad way to test anti-malware program capabilities, as the malware criminals keep revising their methods of attacks.

However, if you have a full image backup, you can go to malware sites and see what happens, then disconnect from the Internet and reinstall the contents of the hard drive from the image backup, which will wipe out any malware.

There are two malware programs known to be very difficult to detect:

    Silent Banker
    Zeus
