What do you think? Answer below!
it will slow your computer down.
While most cookies are harmless, some can contain information that you do not want out there. Therefore most spyware programs will list all the cookies as being a threat. You would actually need to examine the contents of each cookie to know what they contain.
Cookies store your preferences for each website. Just erase them to be safe.
Most spyware are cookies. Why they are harmfull is because they keep sending message. Sometimes they can send the passwords you enter in your browser and other private information. They might also greatly slow the speed of your connection since they keep sending messages.
It contains not only cookies, but also some code to transfer data about your browsing tendencies and other vital personal information like history, other cookies information, passwords etc., Some time they will carry some viruses like Trojan Horses.
They will make browsing an annoying experience by displaying pop-up windows and interrupt your work just to complete their task.
Some threats:
- Monitor user activities
- Identity Threats and Frauds
- Virus Problems
- Decreased system performance
- Annoying pop-up ads etc., (to name only a few)
They probably won’t do any harm, but they may use bugs in Internet Explorer to steal your personal information. I recommend you to delete them, since deleting them won’t do any harm either.
