Question by : How can I use spyware doctor to get rid of antivir?
I downloaded a free trial because this site said it would get rid of this stupid antivir virus and now when I run it ( ihave to run it in safe mode because my computer is so messed up) it doesn’t do anything. it says checking but i can only click the link to get to the pc tools website. help please! this virus is driving me bonkers.

seems you have fallin victim to those pop up scams promising to remove virus for free etc… when in actualality all it is a scam. they want you to pay them to use there scam program that claims to find all sorts of stuff
Try a scan with malwarebytes instead, or run rkill before scanning with Spyware Doctor.
Rkill can be downloaded from http://www.technibble.com/rkill-repair-tool-of-the-week/ here.
Update spyware doctor then, do a scan.
If you click on Spyware Doctor detected infections, you will be able to see where the infected files are.
Delete these.
spyware doctor is very legit and is good (assuming you have the paid version) It can scan and detect the malwares or viruses but you cannot delete them until you upgrade to their full version, some sort of a scanner only. Its up to you if you want to give it a try (its good ) but you can try using and cleaning up your pc with free antimalware/antispyware programs first,
try ; MALWAREBYTES AND SUPERANTISPYWARE
both have free versions at CNET or file hippo , just google search it.
